Responses of arid plant species diversity and composition to environmental factors

Abstract An oasis is a unique natural landscape in arid and semi-arid areas, significant for regulating regional microclimates hydrological processes deserts. However, little known regarding the response of plants communities to various environmental factors. Nineteen sample plots (50 m × 50 m) were selected Daliyabuyi Oasis Taklimakan Desert hinterland based on location groundwater monitoring wells 76 vegetation quadrats (25 25 established. A two-way indicator species analysis, Mantel test, detrended correspondence canonical analysis (CCA), hierarchical partitioning used provide an in-depth community classification, composition, interpretation oasis. generalized linear model was verify results which showed that current could be divided into four types according dominant species, controlled by soil moisture.
